Poor Bax
Some how, I managed to get a look at Baxter's teeth and was shocked when I saw his two front teeth practically rotted away. I tried to clean them but was extremely unsuccessful, so away to the vet he went. They ended up pulling three of his front teeth and two on the bottom. They said it was his age and that he would heal quickly, but he is not even seven yet! Poor Bax!

Slip and Slide
When Bryce and I passed by this slip and slide at the store, we just couldn't resist. I think we almost bought it more for us than for her! Unfortunately, we've learned now that adults need a much steeper hill and a much wider landing strip, but hey, at least Charlotte has fun!

Bryce used up all my dish soap too!

Nothing Moves You Like The First Dance
We were so honored to be invited to Mary's brother's wedding. At times when we were growing up he felt like MY little brother, and I am so proud of the man he has turned in to. It was such a BEAUTIFUL wedding, you could literally feel the love in the air.

We could see horses in the distance during the ceremony and Charlotte kept loudly whispering "Are they married yet?!" so she could go see them. They did not disappoint!

Again, Charlotte loudly exclaimed "Mom, there's cake!"

Life of the party, she is not. She got out on the dance floor for about 30 seconds before realizing other people would be looking at her. A late night, this pouty face, plus a long drive back meant it was time to go!

Birthday Parties
Much to Charlotte's delight, we were invited to TWO birthday parties. Charlotte loves birthdays. She is always asking "Whose birthday is next?!". As soon as an invitation comes she says "Yippee, we get to eat cake!". These birthday parties did not disappoint, as they were in two of her favorite locations, a park and a pool, AND there was cake!
Nathan's party was first, at a local park pavilion:
Sweet baby Amelia, slept through it all!
Next, was Emma Grace's Dora themed party. Charlotte was in heaven!

Happy Momma Day
I've learned now that Mother's Day actually means "do whatever makes mom happy". Which in my case, is getting to sleep in! We actually had a low key mother's day this year, my Mom came to my house for a Mexican Fiesta (which Charlotte loved) and we took Bryce's Mom out on Charlie's boat and grilled out on Lake Lanier (which Charlotte loved). Happy Momma's day to all the Momma's out there!
I sure do love that precious baby!
