Sick Baby

We are on day three at home with a sick baby. She got sent home Tuesday from Mrs. D's because she threw up and of course the working Mom guilt set in when Bryce went to get her. I've only got so many sick days saved up and I am trying hard to hold on to them for maternity leave. I was so impressed with Super Dad though, not only did he go pick her up, but he left sub plans for two days AND took her to the doctor by himself. Maybe we're going to be able to do this two kid thing after all.....

I stayed home with Charlotte today just to make sure she's not contagious any more and give her an extra day of rest. She's been getting back to her normal self all day, so I think we may be in the clear. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that Bryce and I don't catch her virus! Stomach bugs while you're pregnant sounds like torture to me!

Daddy had her set up with a movie on the couch, and an empty plastic bowl just in case! She carried that dang bowl with her everywhere, even to bed, because she was so terrified of having to throw up again!
