We decided to make good use of a Furlough day and drive up to Burt's Pumpkin Farm. They have such a good selection, and pretty good prices, that it makes it worth the long drive up there. The weather was unseasonably warm and I felt so sorry for all those kids who were in long sleeves and corduroys so their Moms could get a good "fall" picture. The high reached 80 today! Despite the heat, and the long lines, Charlotte had tons of fun picking out her own "punkin". She actually talked us into two, but that's ok because we'll have one to carve and one to keep through Thanksgiving.
